Meet Grace Blu

Rona Graf, an artist by nature, loves color, texture, and has an “Outside the Box” approach when it comes to her design aesthetic. You won’t find two projects that are the same and she prides herself on individually creating a new work of art with each client. She has been told that she is easily approachable and fun to work with, and that might be due to growing up in a small town north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She values building relationships and loves to connect with people from all walks of life. After earning her Masters’ degree at the University of Pittsburgh, she moved to California where she quickly realized her passion for design and earned her Interior Design degree from the Interiors Designers Institute.

In 2007, Rona launched Grace Blu Interior Design and has been known for her fresh and unpretentious style, while designing high end residential homes and commercial projects. Grace Blu has been featured on HGTV, and their work has been published in CA Home & Design, Rue Magazine, Coast Magazine, Modern Luxury, Orange County Register and Better Homes and Gardens just to name a few.

In 2018, Grace Blu was selected as 1 of the 5 local firms to design a cottage at the Lido House Hotel in Newport Beach, the “Balboa Cottage”. Grace Blu’s cottage, is a true representation of their aesthetic, a juxtaposition of traditional architecture and modern elements.  Grace Blu is known in the industry to color outside the lines and add elements that are not the “norm” or cookie cutter.  With attention to detail and excellent customer service as their mantra, Grace Blu takes great pride in collaboration with clients and the trade to create unique and one of a kind environments while focusing on quality and value.

When Rona is not busy designing, she is usually traveling and looking for inspiration either in architecture or nature or she is cheering on her son, Mason at one of his sports alongside with their rescue dog Simba.
